Shopping Street in Tokyo
I was having fun taking shot of so many people walking on the street at Ginza Tokyo Japan. Every Saturday and Sunday, there is no vehicle allowed on the street so that people can walk on the street and do sight seeing or shopping. Japanese love shopping too. Have you been noticed this before or is there any related events like this in your own country?
With Wasabi, or Witihout?
Wasabi is a Japanese horseradish. It is in the form of green paste. The Japanese love to have sushi or sashimi with wasabi. Wasabi has a very strong hot flavour. It is not like the heat that you feel when you eat chilli or black pepper, it's different and I am not quite sure how to explain it. But the magical thing is after you eat it, the taste dissipates and it doesn't leave that burning aftertaste in your mouth. Your eyes will gets watery and you will feel a little sensation at the back of your head. I am not sure if everyone agrees with me or not as I am not sure how to explain it, but that is how I feel when I eat it. Maybe you can leave a comment. The Japanese definitely love wasabi with sushi. However, sushi lovers in Europe and US, and also in Malaysia, not all, but quite a lot of them do not actually like wasabi. They prefer to just eat it with soy sauce. I think you should try it as it is a great experience. It is also proven to release stress, and it really does, I have experienced it. What do you think, do you prefer to eat sushi with wasabi?
Do you know any Foreign Song that you like?
When I was a teenager, I have known this japanese song and initially fell in love with its melody. Its a japanese love song sung by Mayumi Itsuwa entitled 'Amayadori' which means 'shelter from the rain.' Mayumi sounded so melancholic and I later learned that the song was meant to be for someone with a broken heart and that somehow she took refuge and shelter from the rain. Until now, its the only japanese song I have memorized and I can sing in full. How bout u do you know any foreign song that you've come to like? Do you know what's the meaning of the song?
Speak out your love please!
Not only time's limited, but also life's fragile. Recent earthquake tells me to speak aloud of my love, we don't know when the accident will happen. One guy may pass away without symptoms and you'll never see him/her again for ever..That's tough. Yesterday we saw a move, Japanese, "love letter", i guess many of you have seen this, at least it was once very famous in China. The hero left for another city without telling his affection for a girl. Two years after his death, his present GF, who looks the same like the girl finds the secret of her BF's love at first sight. So speak out you love, never let it turn into regret that can't be made up. Tell your families, friends that you love them, it's ok, don't be shy **Enjoy life~~**
What's your favorite authentic cuisine?
I do enjoy eating at different authentic restaurants. I have eaten at various restaurants like Japanese (love california roll), Chinese(dimsum, the best!), Mexican (TACO BELL?), Vietnamese (love their egg roll and soup), American, Thai, Italian, Greek, and of course Filipino foods. I love to eat and I prefer to eat the one that I crave.
