Well from an animation, the Death Note was actually own by a Death God and if a name is written on the Death Note, that particular person will die out of natural cause eg heart attack unless stated on how you want that person to die.

If you do, you know that everyone who watches is posed with a basic question, "Is Light Yagami a Savior to the world, or a Psycho who must be stopped?"Light sure believes that he is doing the right thing by ridding the world of evil. Without a single ounce of effort he is getting rid of the scum of the world with only his pen; creating a glorious era of peace where he is God.But L and the police have a good point too. Who made you God? Light didn't stick to just criminals in his notebook, but also people who were trying to find him and stop his plans. I was able to see it because I was really wondering what it was, and why it was so popular.Light, the character in the story was a bit frustrated by the justice system. He found this Death Note that he was able to use in killing criminals that were not prosecuted. It's weird because by just looking at the face and writing the name, the person will be dead in a few seconds by heart attack. Ryuk, the reaper looks scary. L, the young investigator looks very weird wearing the black eye liner.Well, I finished watching[em]happy[/em]. while as the story went,I've been adicted to it.the world is not simply seperated by so-called righteousness and evil.Light originally wanted use his oun way to punish the criminals,but finally he goes the wrongway,and he LOST hinself.
L and light,they are likely to be friends,but forever enemy.

| | What will you do with a Death Note? | | I and my husband are about to finish a cartoon series we are watching. I just love the story and I tend to be carried away. The title is DEATH NOTE. The story runs with some characters having a Death Note which is a black notebook that can kill a person once that person's name is written on it by the owner. One of the characters used it to kill criminals to make a better world to live in. But he was opposed by one character because it is not right to judge criminals on his own hands. The Death Note is owned by a death god who just dropped it on land so someone can pick and own it. If you have a Death Note what will you do with it?
Will you also kill criminals? Will you want to be God?
