Best Japanese movie released in television by series.
I love watching this one! so intense, so wicked, so epic, the characters of Light a.k.a Akira, L the genius detective and the CGI Reyuk plus the unique storyline, the battle of wit and the brains, make the movie a complete package. Based from the japanese anime tv series of the same title. I recommend to try watch the death note, you will not be disappointed.
do you like Japanese movie?
I didn't watch much japanese movie... What I have watched are "The Ring",“Incantation Resentment"."Death Note".... I really don't know what they were saying... As a horrible movie,I don't think they were scary.... From that time I really don't like japanese movie at all.. People may say that it just because I am Chinese. But I learned Japanese for 3 years, and I am working on a Japanese Company. I think that something of Japanese should be learninged by us.Such as politeness, abides by the plege, treat everything earnestly. But something do not approvaled by me.I learn from one of my Japanese Collegue that,Japanese man maltreat their wife....Their man thought woman should stay at home.Because woman was borned for house keeping....
The first Japanese movie that glued me to watch
Yesterday while surfing through TV channels, a black & white movie caught my immediate attention for two reasons. The first, the Japanese anguage (I know little more than the survival Japanese) in its raw form. The second, true-cinematic-poetry-rich frames with unbelievably realistic sound effects for a b/w movie. What I guess is that I watched last 20mins of the movie. As it was a Japanese channel, I could not get any clue on the movie name etc. Fortunately the Kanjis (Japanese pitctographical characters) they used on the END card of movie are so simple to remember,, I immediately googled on that Movie title. Great things happen in life, when they are least expected.Pals, my knowledge is very limited in this area, most of you might be knowing about this movie already.I tried to share one of my greatest filmy experiences with you as it happened. I'm yet to see the full movie, this weekend I'll watch the original DVD version. It is 'Seven Samurai' for non-japanese.Was voted the 12th Greatest Film of all time by Entertainment Weekly, being the only film in the magazine's top 20 greatest films not in English. Please see this movie... you will witness the true beauty,...
Did you liked Indian, Chinese, Japanese movie?
Hi I like very much this sort of movie. What do you think?
Japanese Movie
Do anyone of you have seen the new Japanese movie where it featured Japan being erased in the map? I watched the trailer last night and I didn't took note of its title.
Has anyone ever seen this Japanese movie?
Battle Royale or Batoru rowaiaru? It's really good!! We've also watched the sequel to it. They're suppose to remake it for an American audiance. I hope it is as good cause I lot of times they water down the movies they remake for here.
Kamikaze Girls
Have you ever heard of this movie? I saw it on DVD several time over the past 2 years or so at Hot Topic and some of my local bookstores. I was always curious about it, but was never willing to buy the DVD to watch it. I rented another japanese movie and watched it last night, and there was a trailer for Kamikaze Girls (titled Shimotsuma Monogatari in Japan), and I was intruiged. It looks so quirky and modern and fun, and I didn't know Anna Tsuchiya was in it- she's a model and pop star in Japan. I really want to watch it now! Has anyone seen it? What did you think?
whats your favorite scary movie???
wooo... like some scary stuff? share your thoughts and reviews on your favorite horror movies...
What is and/or are the best movie(s) in 2009????
I don't think I've watched a lot of movies this year. The only movie that I've watch in the big screen was NEW MOON!!! And its one of the best movie of this year...I think I watched Hannah Montana The Movie, Harry Potter (am not even sure which HP was that lol) and I think that was it. I really don't watch it on the big screen. I prefer buying a copy not unless its a movie that I really really really need to watch in the big screen...So what about you???
Hachikō Monogatari - a very touching movie!
I woke up with swollen eyes this morning and the reason is I was watchingHachikō Monogatari last night. This is a 1987 movie about a dog called Hachikō and its loyalty to its master, even after his death. While watching the movie, I cried so much that I think I used up half a box of tissue. The story, the dog, the music and everything else made this film one of the best I've ever watched. The name Hachikō is well-known among Japanese and dog lovers, but for the benefit for those who don't know, you can check out this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hachik%C5%8D ..12 years after 1987 (2009), America decides to make a movie about Hachikō and it's calledHachiko: A Dog's Story starring Richard Gere. This movie has already been shown in Japan and I think it will be shown in America soon. It will only come to Singapore next January and I'm quite looking forward to watching the show. If you are a dog lover, please be sure to catchHachikō Monogatari. If you have already watched, please share your views. Thanks.[em]wink[/em]
